The town

Roxby Downs

Roxby Downs is a wonderful oasis in the desert, located 560 kilometres north of Adelaide. It’s a modern and vibrant town offering plenty of facilities and recreational opportunities. The region boasts a desert climate with mild winters and warm summers, making it an ideal place for young families to settle down. With a population of around 4000 and a median age of 30, it’s a friendly and welcoming community.

The towns

Port Hedland

If you don’t feel like driving the 17hrs north from Perth, it’s just a 2hr flight to where a relaxed coastal lifestyle awaits you! With numerous beaches, lookouts and recreational facilities, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to the many different places to keep cool!

Newman

Further inland from Perth city, Newman is a 12hr drive or 1hr 45min flight away. An original mining town, it is sometimes referred to as the Gateway to the Western Desert and leads to some of the most beautiful National Parks in Western Australia.
