Keen to get a taste for a career in Early Childhood Education and Care? Join The Academy and immerse yourself into:
- 8 FREE introductory learning modules
- Opportunity for work experience at a Pilbara Early Learning Centre
This will enable you to understand children’s learning and developmental needs while gaining a thorough understanding of the importance of the Educator role. We will guide you through the journey with one-on-one mentoring and support. There is no time limit to complete and we can tailor your learning journey to suit your individual circumstances.
We want you to succeed and there are many ways you can start your journey
Online Learning Modules
These 8 online modules are an introduction to working in Early Childhood Education and Care, can be completed at your own pace and have a “Reflection Journal” – no exams!
There is no certification for completion and it is not accredited – it is experience. Our consultants will get you set up with our Online Learning Centre and you can start the modules immediately.
The best part is that you can begin your work experience after completing just 2 modules!
Work Placement
If you are looking for practical experience, there are 2 modules you need to complete before starting your Certificate III. These can be done during work experience or as casual employment. We will support you to find a placement within one of our participating Early Learning Centres or Outside School Hours Care services.
Earn financial incentives at the same time!
Thriving Futures Academy offers financial incentives when you start and finish training modules, as well as when you secure employment! This means you can try something new and explore where your passion can take you, without locking yourself in with a new employer. However, if you do find that you love the role (and why wouldn’t you!) there’s the added $1,000 incentive when you start your first job!
